| Swimmer Has Cancer Surgery The swimmer Eric Shanteau had surgery Wednesday to remove a cancerous testicle after fulfilling his goal of swimming in the Olympics. The 24-year-old Shanteau had the operation at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, his agent Evan Morgenstein said. Shanteau, who grew up in suburban Atlanta, was found to have cancer in June, shortly before the United States Olympic trials.
